We are now accepting abstract submissions for the annual Impact First Digital Development Summit. Submissions are due by June 30, 2024.
The Impact First Summit creates a unique platform for ICT4D practitioners and innovators to converge, collaborate, catalyze and scale solutions to drive cross-sectoral growth.
With over 100 global attendees spanning various sectors, it’s a prime opportunity to showcase expertise and engage with a diverse community.

If your submission is accepted, you will receive discounted admission to the Summit ($250). Speakers accepted through the call for abstracts are responsible for their own hotel and travel arrangements and any associated expenses.
Session Types
All sessions will run between 09:00 - 17:00 (GMT Lisbon Time). We accept abstracts for:
Plenary Presentations: 30 min + Q&A
Breakout Presentations: 20 mins + Q&A
Entry into Portugal
Speakers outside Europe, confirm funding early and plan visa processing. Ensure Schengen visa eligibility or contact events@baosystems.com for an invitation letter. Include:
Full Name (as it appears on your passport)
Passport Number
Country of residence
Nationality
Work title
Organization Name
You can apply for a Schengen visa at the Portuguese embassy or consulate in the country you reside in. In addition to the embassy and consulate, you can also apply for a visa through VFS Global. We encourage all speakers to book a visa appointment at the embassy, consulate or through VFS Global immediately, even though you have not yet received notification about your abstract submission.
