Daren Trudeau is a global health professional with almost two decades of experience living and working in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. Most recently, as the Deputy Country Director for Jhpiego (an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University) in Mozambique, Daren oversaw technical, operational, and strategic activities on projects funded by USAID, CDC, and DOD. Daren has worked on donor-funded health system strengthening, HIV/AIDS, maternal/child health, and family planning projects with IntraHealth International in North Carolina, St. Francis Xavier University’s Coady Institute in Nova Scotia, Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and the Queen’s University Family Medicine Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Daren has demonstrated excellence in a range of areas including project administration, capacity building, advocacy, behavior change communication, monitoring and evaluation, use of research to inform policy, m-health, and geographic information systems (GIS).
